S1100 SI Server


S1100 SI Server is a PSI/SI generator that plays out DVB service information as specified in ETSI EN 300 468 The server generates Program Specific Information (PSI) and Service Information data for multiple target transport streams. The generated tables can be cross-referenced so that the actual network configuration for one transport stream; NIT actual, is signalled as describing other network information on output transport stream; NIT other. The same cross-referencing is possible also for service description (SDT) and event information (EIT).

Real-time SI generator

    needed in a DVB network. The S1100 can interface with external
    scheduling systems and generates full name and text based
    descriptors in multiple languages. Moreover the server supports
    all DVB SI character codings.

MANAGEMENT

Scilla S1100 SI Server provides an SNMP Agent and Java based -interface
for managing and monitoring the stream processor. A third party Network
Management System (NMS) can be used to manage and control the complete
playout chain. MIB files provide configuration information for controlling the
stream processor. Additionally user selected log information can be sent to
as SNMP traps, to a Syslog service or as emails using SMTP.


S1200 EPG Server


Scilla S1200 EPG Server generates Electronic Program Guides for multiple transport streams. The server interfaces with external scheduling systems and generates full 64-day EPG in multiple languages and supports all DVB SI character sets.

Highly accurate stream output
□ Multiplexer output format is MPTS. Maximum output on ASI is 213 Mbps.
    Maximum output on Gigabit Ethernet is >800 Mbps.

PSI/SI Generation
□ The built-in multiplexer engine facilitates its own PSI/SI generator. PSI/SI
    table data can be ingested using a constant bit rate which is based on
    current table size and repetition rates or tables can be ingested as bursts
    which are optimal for e.g. stream events and other high priority data that
    need to precede other sources that are ingested to the stream.


SCILLA EPG EDITOR


Scilla EPG Editor is a WYSIWYG editor for EPG data. The graphical user interface is intuitive and makes it easy to browse and edit time based data. Standard and private descriptors can be edited using Scilla's standard SI Editor user interface.
